The Bags for Bags Cornhole Tournament was held on September 12, 2026—and Mother Nature definitely showed up for us! A beautiful sunny day, moderate temperatures and a refreshing breeze made for a pretty perfect afternoon, despite maybe some of our bags going off course due to a sudden gust! You gotta play the wind! Fourteen teams, ranging in age from young to…well, young at heart, came out to compete for the ’ship!

A HUGE thank you is in order to our tournament sponsors, Casey’s & Leonhardt Team! Your generous donations allowed us to provide pizza, water and Gatorade to our participants at no additional cost. Even more, many of the little extras that helped make the day special were made possible because of your support. We are incredibly grateful!

A big thank you to all of our amazing volunteers, too! You kept bellies full, answered questions, did some frustrating math, kept things moving and jumped in wherever an extra set of hands was needed. We couldn’t have pulled this off without you!

And, of course, thank you to all of our bags chuckers! We appreciate you showing up to support Chisago Lakes Boys Basketball. We hope you had as much fun as we did—and we’re already looking forward to seeing you again next year!

1st Place: Team Ode | 2nd Place: NBA Superstars

The goal of the Bags for Bags Cornhole Tournament was to help provide a team basketball backpack for each player in our high school program. Thanks to all of you, we are well on our way! And remember, 100% of all CLBBBC funds raised go directly to our boys' teams.

But perhaps the greatest success of the tournament wasn’t how many bags found the hole, who took home the ’ship, or even how much we raised. It was spending an afternoon together. Parents. Players. Coaches. Friends. Families. Neighbors. Supporters.

Whether you came to compete, cheer on the action, or simply spend the afternoon with friends and family, we’re incredibly grateful for the chance to come together as a community and support our boys and the program we all care so much about.
